Why Kamptribe exists
An RV trip on the other side of the ocean is, for most families, the biggest trip they will ever plan. The route, the camper, the campgrounds, the park passes and the budget all depend on each other — and yet they usually live in loose spreadsheets, screenshots and chat messages.
Kamptribe puts that in one place: a route you build stop by stop, a map with campgrounds and National Parks, a budget that updates live, and the option to let everyone who is coming plan along. Make every mile count — every mile should be worth it, including the miles before departure.
How we write and review guides
Official sources
Park information comes from the National Park Service and Parks Canada, reservation rules from Recreation.gov and the Parks Canada reservation service, and rental terms from the rental companies themselves. We write down what is there, not what we heard somewhere.
A review date on everything that changes
Rules, seasons and price indications change. Every guide therefore carries the date of its last check, and we never phrase advice about fees or regulations as eternal truth.
No invented experiences or reviews
We write as planners, not as a travel diary. You will find no star ratings, no 'thousands of families' and no stories we cannot back up.
Commercial links always disclosed
Whenever a guide contains an affiliate or partner link, it says so clearly. Today our guides contain none; we name rental companies and services neutrally.

Mark builds Kamptribe: the routing, the budget engine and the way a family or group works on one plan together. He writes the guides on planning, costs and RV rental based on rental companies' terms, the official park services (NPS, Parks Canada) and the reservation systems themselves — and reviews them on a fixed date so time-sensitive advice never quietly goes stale.

Editor & family perspective
Kelly makes sure every guide answers the question a family actually asks before booking: how many miles a day, when to go, what to reserve and what you can safely leave. She reviews Mark's guides for readability and completeness, and writes about seasons, national parks and travelling with kids — with the official park information as the source.
